In class we just finished watching a movie called ruby bridges who is a very intelligent black girl. Ruby`s life was going good playing with all her friends and having a good time. considering Ruby`s intelligent she was asked to immigrate into a white school the first week she and her mother were escorted to the school be large intimidating marshals to protect the two from being hurt by the furious protesters, the week after she was just escorted by the marshals. "some of the protesters said they were going to poison her and one lady had a black doll in a coffin" The white people were so disrespectful and racist that they fired Ruby's dad because ruby was in the school, one woman said that the father couldn't come to their store any more just because Ruby was in the school. it kept getting worse there own friends started turning on them. After a while every thing started to come into place the white kids started going to the school and being ruby`s friend. it also worked out because she got all A`s on her report card. in the end i hope this story teaches every one a lesson. My thoughts on this is that back then almost every one didn't respect black people that's wrong and incenses i wish i hope in the future can and will be better people
